Just months before the pandemic hit, we had the great chance to spend a few weeks in Tanzania with family and friends.  Our tour was with Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT), and it exceeded all expectations we may have had.  Our tour guides were all native to this country, and the company's focus was on the people and culture of Tanzania as well as the amazing wildlife the country has to offer.  Below are just a few highlights from our trip.

Overseas Adventure Travels group leader stopped along the highway to Tarangire National Park to give Safewater Ceramic Filters made at the Safewater Ceramics Filter Factory in Arusha, Tanzania, to local Maasai families.

We are Travelers, not tourists, and we are all being educated about the people, the place, and the environment that we enjoyed during our 10-day journey through Tanzania

The Kopje landscapes of the Serengeti created beautiful vistas within the Park and provide habitat for many of the wildlife species that occur here.
